Harshad Dhage along with his friends started environmental activity for the better Society. He started Conducting “Beach Cleanups” every week since January 2020, raising awareness about the plastic pollution harming aquatic life and cleaning up tons of plastic waste from the beach. At the same time, working on significance of “Mangroves Cleanup”. So that the coastal area remain clean from the waste coming from the sea.

A youth organisation that takes initiatives for a better India.

The name “For Future India” itself shows the moto of our organisation. This is the contribution of the FFI Team towards better Nation. We are awakening the young generation for better living and to protect the environment. Pollution and development are inextricably linked. In the process of developing, nations often rely on the exploitation of natural resources in order to build up revenue. The building of mass infrastructure, another key part of development, often utilizes energy from fossil fuels as well as, serving to further pollution. Young generation should take care of environment for their balanced life in future and it will be beneficial for their next generation too. The FFI Team is working on environment's improvement, and to help needy people, and children's education, feeding and shelter for street Animals, and also working on women's self defence program as well as #Pollution #ClimateChange #SaveTheNature #SayNoToPlastic.

Beach Cleanup & Conservation

"Save the Marine Life"

Nowadays whatever we are facing is just like the action reaction mechanisms of nature. Only humans are responsible for all kinds of pollution. Beaches need to be clean because whatever garbage dumping or any other plastic material which makes it dirty will get into the sea and it will affect the life of aquatic animals.

For Future India Team started since January 2020 and till now we have cleaned beaches including Uttan Beach, Velankanni Beach, Gorai Beach, Manori Beach with 215000+ volunteers for 150+ times. And removed approx. 650000+ kg of waste and plastic materials.

Mangroves Conservation

"Save Mangroves, Save Earth"

Mangroves have been threatened by deforestation for decades, as agriculture and aquaculture, urban development and harvesting have caused the loss of more than a quarter of mangrove forests in the past 50 years. 62% of the lost area was due to human causes, mainly farming and aquaculture. Mangroves play important roles in preventing sea erosion and seawater intrusion, and which softens the impact of tsunami.
We have obtained many benefits from planting/growing Mangroves in our city. We undertook the task of informing the people about the benefits and importance of the Mangroves bordering the sea. Many college and school students, as well as locals from the city, took part in the campaign. From last 12 months, we started mangroves forest cleaning campaign at Bhayander East and West and have managed to remove more than 100 tons of garbage from this place. This campaign will continue with great success.

Save the Biodiversity

"Go Green, To Breath Clean"

The loss of trees and other vegetation can cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and a host of problems for indigenous people. Deforestation or forest clearance is the removal of a forest or stand of trees from land that is then converted to non-forest use.

On a certain day, month and year one should observe the ceremony of tree-planting. Thus, one fulfills one's responsibilities, serves one's fellow-beings which not only brings happiness but benefits all.

FFI have planted more than 200+ trees in city. By knowing the need of oxygen and to benefit the locals many plants were planted. FFI has also carried out a “FORT CLEANING ACTIVITY” on 'Janjire Dharavi Killa'. In addition to the Trekking, FFI had also carried out Cleanup Activities on many Forts. On the mission of Swachh Survekshan, FFI has done the 'Plog Run 2022’ in the month of February 2021 with the support of MBMC. In correspondence with the administration, efforts are made to remove and reuse debris dumped in Mangroves. This helps in the conservation of the marine forest.

Environment Envoy Under the Majhi Vasundhara

Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan 2.0 has been undertaken by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Maharashtra, who mainly focuses on the five elements of nature includes land, water, air, fire and sky. However, the environment and climate change of the Government of Maharashtra and Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation has selected Environment Envoy for Mira Bhayander city under Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan.

Swachhta Champion Under the Swachh Survekshan

In 'Swachh Survekshan 2022' various cleaning activities were carried out by Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation. For Future India Team gave their valuable contribution in 'Swachh Bharat Mission'. Hence For Future India has been given the title of "Swaccha Champion"

MoU sing with Mangroves Foundation, Forest Department of Maharashtra

On the occasion of #WorldWetlandsDay "For Future India" signed 'MoU' with "Mangrove Foundation, Government of Maharashtra" for Mangrove and Marine Biodiversity Conservation & Cleanup Drive in Thane region.

The Memorandum of Understanding will play a vital role in Mangrove and Marine Biodiversity Conservation & Cleanup Drive.
